Vince Zampella, Has Died in a Los Angeles Vehicle Accident
The co-creator of Call of Duty, who helped create the wildly popular franchise Call of Duty, has died in a vehicle crash in California at the age of 55.
Zampella's death was confirmed by Electronic Arts, the publisher that controls Respawn Entertainment, the video game company that he helped create.
The renowned game designer passed away following his vehicle was involved in a crash and caught fire on a freeway in the Los Angeles area on Sunday, as reported by.
"We are facing an unimaginable loss, and our hearts are with Vince's family, his loved ones, and the countless individuals inspired by his legacy," an official with Electronic Arts commented.
