A renowned South African media personality and entertainer has been shot dead in the metropolis of Johannesburg, causing national outrage across a nation grappling with persistent crime.
Warrick Stock, widely recognized as DJ Warras, was shot and killed in the downtown area on a Tuesday afternoon.
Police said the forty-year-old entertainer was accosted by a trio of assailants, with one shot at him before escaping on foot.
