Large-scale Moscow's Attacks Eliminate Electricity Across Kyiv

Power facilities targeted in Ukraine
The country's energy systems have come under increased attacks in the past few days

During the night, Russian missile and drone strikes have caused blackouts in large parts of the capital city, Kyiv.

A number of civilians were hurt while residents in eastern neighborhoods were left without electricity and encountered interruptions to water systems, according to city officials.

Meanwhile, a young boy was killed in a different assault in the Zaporizhzhia area in the southeastern part, as reported by area administrators.

Moscow has increased attacks on energy facilities over the past few days, while the country's government has called for "substantial measures" from international partners to exert influence on Russia.

"The necessity is not superficial actions but strong steps - from the America, European nations and the major economies - in supplying air defence systems and implementing penalties," was stated in a online statement.

He said that numerous aerial vehicles and several dozen rockets struck Ukraine's energy infrastructure, characterizing such attacks as "premeditated" and against "essential services" as temperatures become colder.

The energy minister said Moscow was "conducting extensive attacks" and technical staff were working to restore power.

A wave of strikes hit electrical systems and residential structures in the capital.

Several of the people hurt in the attacks on the city have been hospitalized, as confirmed by local officials.

Area administrators said the urban area endured intense attacks overnight. A seven-year-old child lost their life and three other people were hurt.

The assaults succeed periods of aerial attacks in the region, parts of which are occupied by invading troops.

The whole nation is in a state of readiness for hypersonic Kinzhal missile strikes, which are tougher to spot.

National leaders told reporters that Russia was purposely seeking to destroy the country's energy grid, with assaults already disrupting fuel infrastructure.

Authorities confirmed technical personnel and government agencies were bracing for additional strikes.
